Jennifer Brady, an attorney from the Boston regional office of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will be here to discuss financial investment advice and fraud detection and prevention. In this presentation you’ll learn some basics about investing and saving as well as about fraud scams - which are much more common than you think! Using film clips, anecdotes, and excerpts from their books, Janet and Sharon talk about 1940s women in real as well as ‘reel’ life and how these smart, stylish, and wise-cracking gals in books and film inspired their own 1940s-set mysteries.
