The Mudville Madrigal Singers, now in their thirty-second year, will soon perform their annual celebration of spring at two local churches. The program includes works by Byrd, Jannequin, Britten, Vaughn Williams, and Gershwin; and contemporary composers Lauridsen, Joel,  and Busby, Bono, and Barnwell. They will sing at the Christ the King Lutheran Church at 600 Central Street in Holliston at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 30. The next day they will be at the Congregational Church of Weston at 130 Newton Street in Weston, again at 8 p.m. Admission is free with donations gratefully accepted. They hope music-loving and spring-loving readers of this notice will attend.
