Current logo is outdated, does not reflect current programming

The Holliston Senior Center, known as “The Center,” is seeking ideas for a new logo.
The current logo, which is outdated and seldom used, needs updating, says Holliston Senior Center Director Lisa S. Borchetta, and town officials have turned to the public for its help.
“The Council on Aging and The Center are currently in the process of updating and rebranding our front-facing materials to reflect the broader reach of services and programs that are offered here,” said Borchetta, noting they are looking for “a visual symbol that captures and enlivens the image of the diverse and vital residents we serve; images speak volumes!”
The Center is not just for senior citizens as it serves people over a five-decade age span, and a new logo should reflect that.
“We have members here in their 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and occasionally 100s,” said Borchetta. “Holliston’s 55+ population is currently about 24% of the total population, and that number is expected to grow to 35% by 2030.”
The new logo be used for print and promotional materials, social media, etc., and the contest is open to anyone of any age and any town. The new name and tag line is:

Where Age Inspires Endless Possibilities…Connect, Learn, Thrive
Said Borchetta, “We know there are many talented and creative folks out there who would love the opportunity to participate in an enduring, public project like this and we want to give the residents and creative folks of all ages the opportunity to participate in this exciting opportunity.”
“The Council on Aging is really excited to be taking on this extensive review of The Center’s messaging and looks forward to reviewing the submissions,” said Borchetta.
The deadline for submissions is Aug 31. Entrants are encouraged to create “an innovative, distinctive logo” and submit it to [email protected] and/or [email protected]. The Council on Aging will review submissions and decide how they would like to proceed. All entries become the property of the Town of Holliston.
