Holliston Farmer’s Market plans to return June 5
By Theresa Knapp
The Holliston Farmer’s Market plans to open for the season on June 5 and go into October on Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Note this is a slightly later start time than last year.
The market features a variety of vendors and is held at Blair Square on the Upper Charles Trail, at the corner of Central and Railroad Streets.
At a Select Board meeting on March 14, market organizer Bobby Blair said the market made $3,000 last year. He said the constant rain made it the “worst farming season in 16 years.”
Blair said he plans to again seek an entertainment license from 10 a.m. to noon on market days.
Final approvals and permits are needed before opening day can be finalized.
