September is here (already!) but the good news is that means a new membership year for Holliston Newcomers & Neighbors. HNN is a not-for-profit civic and social organization that brings friends & neighbors from Holliston and the surrounding communities together to give back and have some fun!

Last year was certainly unique but through it all, HNN was still able to get together, meet new people, and give back to our community. Through our donation drive, we were able to contribute to gift cards for Thanksgiving and Easter Baskets for the Holliston Pantry Shelf as well as providing dessert for the Holliston Senior Center Thanksgiving Meal for Seniors. Fundraising may have been limited but we hope people enjoyed our Prize A Day calendar raffle in May - great prizes every day donated by local businesses. And you may have seen us at the HNN Community Grant sponsored Summer Concerts organized by Holliston Parks & Recreation. 

We met a lot of new Hollistonians along the way as well. Our virtual monthly Book Club and Ladies Escapes brought us together to meet our new neighbors and keep in touch with old ones throughout the year including our holiday no-contact yankee swap, a cross-fit training session, an instructional baking night for Valentine’s Day, and a tea tasting with instruction given from Hawaii! We were even able to end our year with an outdoor in-person get-together of wine tasting and charcuterie creating.
