The Holliston Lions Club held the initial drawing for their 2020 $10,000 Big Raffle on August 22nd and now the fun begins! There are 10 ticket holders still in the running for the $10,000 grand prize. To make things more exciting, ticket holders who were eliminated in the initial drawing have a second chance to get back in the running by purchasing an 11th ticket on-line through September 9th. On September 12th the final ten (10) ticket holders + the 11th ticket winner will be brought together virtually to determine the 2020 $10,000 Big Raffle winner. Per our tradition, during this time we will ask the finalists if they want to split the $10,000, or if we should continue to eliminate tickets. The decision to split must be unanimous! If even one person does not want to split, we keep eliminating tickets until we get a unanimous decision to split the grand prize, or there is only one person left. This final ten (10) elimination round will be broadcast on HCAT & Facebook.  Details about this broadcast will be posted on the Holliston Lions website www.hollistonlions.org.

We would also like to announce that our 2020 Big Raffle Silent Auction is being held on-line. Thanks to our many generous donors we have over 60 great items to bid on. The items range in value from $10 to $1500, so there is something to fit everyone’s budget. The silent auction will close on Wednesday, September 16th. Winning bidders will be able to get their prizes during a contact-free pick-up on Saturday September 19th in the parking lot at St. Michael’s Episcopal 1162 Highland St, Holliston, MA 01746. 

We need your help now, more than ever, as many charitable organizations, including the Holliston Lions, have had to cancel fundraising events while requests for support are increasing. The Silent Auction is open to anyone who wants to participate, so please share this information with your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers.
